I'm a Cox customer, and any time I have called their customer service line, I have always had a good experience. Of course, they're also the highest rated in the country for customer satisfaction.

I find the worst offenders for the overseas CSRs are typically the airlines. Every time I call United I have a terrible experience.

I'm somewhat of an oddity, however, in that I typically cheerlead for United. My flights with them are rarely delayed, often come in early, and they've never lost my bags (unlike US Air, which practically makes a sport of it.)

Having tweeted several times about Verizon's Internet service, I think the issue with ISPs is not about the failure/breakdown -- but the customer service during the problem.

Verizon DSL has really poor customer service, so that will cause me to be more upset by the time I'm done that I was at the problem myself. BTW -- there's nothing like a CSR in India or the Phillipeans trying to solve the problem while the call is routed over the worst VOIP imaginable, and sometimes the guy can barely understand English.

Anyway, that's my two cents.
