People who think that only eink is suitable for readers haven't played much with ultra-high-res LCDs. It's better for surfing the web on than anything else out there. You can use it to play two-person games, where you both play simultaneously (MS Surface stuff, basically). It also offers a better user model for non-techies than the WIMP/file system model.
