What A Difference The Sun Makes

Atlanta without rainThe National Show, for the staff at least, has begun. Today was host to hours of meetings and presentations.

Tomorrow the show opens for the rest of the world, and I’ll bring you blog reports throughout the day on the sessions and the happenings on the exhibit floor. Most of those will be on the National Show blog.

In the mean time, enjoy another picture out the window, this one of a sunlit downtown Atlanta.

A Dreary Day In Atlanta Cable’s National Show gets underway tomorrow in Atlanta. As you can see from the picture at left, it’s a gray day in Georgia. Yesterday was much nicer.

I was able to take a walk through the show floor and judging by the preparations, it promises to be a big event. The forklifts and cherry pickers were all over putting together the booths. Crews were busy wiring the flat panel TVs into spaces in the Hustler TV booth.

Hustler TV and the Gospel Music ChannelIt was actually sort of surprising to see the booth next to Hustler – the Gospel Music Network. Only in the entertainment industry would those two booths be located in such close proximity.

Some of the other interesting sites included a race car, a moose and a musk ox, and a pristine Mustang
